1. Start your ad with the merchandise you are selling - starting with the merchandise makes it easier
for the reader to locate your item(s) for sale.
2. Always include the price of the item you are selling - 52%of all classified ads do not include a
price
3. Keep abbreviations to a minimum - make it easy for readers to understand
4.Place yourself in the reader's position ask what you would like to know about the merchandise for
sale include information such as brand names, colors and other specific des-criptions.
